Activities in our Church

Sunday Services.

The morning service begins at 10:30 am ( includes Creche and Sunday School)
We start with a hymn and a reading from the Bible. The children recite the verses they have learned. Then a story or talk for the children. After the second hymn the children go into the schoolroom or creche. The service continues with the announcements, followed by the offering, a prayer and a hymn. The sermon usually lasts between 25 and 35 mins. The service concludes with a hymn and prayer.

Tuesday Evening.

Ladies Bible Study is on the 2nd Tuesday of the month 8pm - 9:15 approx. A group of ladies about twelve in number, and of varying ages, currently studying Philippians with the help of our leader.

Wednesday Evening.

Bible study and prayer meeting 7:30pm - 9:30 pm. An informal meeting with a study from God's word and shared matters for prayer and praise. Once a month we have a Missionary Prayer Meeting with a representative from the particular mission. It is quite amazing to hear of the work that God is doing today in other parts of the world.

Thursdays.

Coffee morning in the Chapel is held on the first Thursday of the month 10:30am with various speakers.

House group fellowship.

We meet at 7:30 pm on the first Thursday of the month in a chapel member's home. We play a game or have a quiz followed by a talk given by the Pastor.

Men's meeting.
 
From time to time we have a men's meeting in the chapel. A speaker is invited, someone of interest who has given his life to the Lord. A light supper is provided.

Operation Christmas Child.

We collect  filled shoe boxes each year to send to children in need.


Holiday Club.

A club for children, school years reception to year six. This is held in the Summer Holidays.           Please click hereholiday club.pdf

Christmas at our Church.

We celebrate our Lord's Birth with a Carol Service during Christmas week.
The Sunday School Children give us their version of the Nativity, and the older children perform their own play. This is on the Sunday before Christmas, with refreshments after the service (mince pies, tea and coffee). The children have a  party in January. Christmas morning we meet for a short service.

Fish and Chip Supper.

Usually held in January. Fish and Chips with various Desserts. Followed by a Quiz.
